A team of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) caught an executive engineer of the National Housing Authority (NHA) redhanded while taking bribe in Dinajpur town on Sunday night.
The arrestee was identified as Md Delwar Hossain, a NHA executive engineer in Dinajpur. NHA land allotment committee directed Dinajpur NHA in a meeting to allot a house in the name of Najmunnahar but she did not get the allotment in the last one and a half years. Najmunnahar filed a complaint with the ACC against executive engineer Md Delwar Hossain and sub assistant engineer Md Abdul Wadud for harassing her and demanding Tk 150,000 from her to get allotment of the house.
