Tushi's classmates Arpita Sutradhar, Kakan Ghosh, Jayita Ghosh, Mahi were crying, teacher Anisur Rahman, head teacher Ali Hasan cried. Basically, all demanded execution of Rajiv Bhowmik, the killer of Parmita Sarkar Tushi, a brilliant student of class 10 of Tarash Government Girls’ High School, who was killed along with his parents recently.
The people present, teachers and students, wept after hearing the recollections of Tushi's classmates on Thursday. Tushi's schoolmates and teachers formed a human bond demanding the hanging of schoolgirl Parmita Sarkar Tushi and her parents' murderer Rajiv Bhowmik in Sirajganj's Tarash.
In the morning, the human chain spread from the gate of the government girls' high school of the upazila to about a quarter kilometer of the area. About 500 students and all working teachers of the school participated in human chain.
During this time, students and teachers protested using different banners and festoons demanding the death of assassin Rajiv Bhowmik. The teachers of the school while addressing the students thanked the police administration for identifying Tushi's killer at the earliest. Besides, they demanded execution of murderer Rajiv Bhowmik after speedy trial.
It is to be noted that the police recovered the bodies of husband Bikash Sarkar, wife Swarna Sarkar and their daughter Parmita Sarkar Tushi (three persons) from their house in Barwari Battala Mohalla of the town of Tarash Upazila of Sirajganj early on Tuesday (January 30).
Besides, three bodies were sent to Shaheed M Mansoor Ali Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
Swarna Sarkar's elder brother Sukmal Chandra Saha filed a murder case at Tarash Police Station as the plaintiff.
Later, the police administration revealed the mystery of the murder in the fastest time. He also confessed his involvement in the murder to the police and the learned court.
