Police on Tuesday night recovered the pistol of former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal from Monipuripara area in the city.
A team of Tejgaon police station recovered the pistol of Asaduzzaman Khan from a road in an abandoned condition at Monipuripara.
Deputy Commissioner of the Detective Branch (DB) of police Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter on Wednesday.
Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal went into hiding after the fall of the Awami League government on August 5 in face of the student-led anti-discrimination movement.
