Salma-Adil Foundation (SAF) has provided free burial equipment to "Al-Markazul Islami" for burying people who died of corona infection.
Mufti Rukonuddin, PS to the organization’s acting Chairman Hamza Shahidul Islam, received the supplies on behalf of Al-Markazul Islami. Al-Markazul Islami is currently playing a proactive role in burying the bodies of conformed and suspected victims of corona virus.
According to the SAF, the necessary equipment and supplies for burial will be delivered to the relatives of the deceased through volunteers upon contacting over phone or Facebook.
The organization has already provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety gadgets to a number of such organizations with its own funding throughout the country, including the Chandanaish Upazila in Chittagong, Office of the Civil Surgeon in Dhaka, Kurmitola General Hospital and a voluntary organization known as 'Khidmatul Maiyat-Gazipur'.
