An electric mechanic was hacked to death by criminals at Masdair area under Fatulla police station in the district on Friday night. Deceased was identified as Abdur Rahim, 25, son Iman Ali, a tenant of Ilias Sardar house of Masdair area of Sadar upazila.
Locals recovering Rahim was sent to hospital where attending doctor declared him dead. Police conducted raid at different places including Munshiganj district arrested three suspects including two women involved in killing. The arrestees are Saddam Hossain 29, his mother Razia and his maternal aunt Sulatana.
Body was sent to Narayanganj general hospital morgue for post mortem. A criminal case was filed with police station against unknown accused.
