An old woman was killed after being hit by a motorcycle on the Moghbazar flyover in the capital early Friday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Her age is approximately (70) years.
Confirming the death, Sub Inspector Masudur Rahman of Hatirjheel Police Station said, 'The woman was seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle on Thursday after 12:00 am’.
She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declared her name.
The motorcycle was seized and the driver was arrested.
The CID took her finger prints to identify her. The body has been kept at the DMK morgue for post-mortem.
