A waz and milad mahfil has been organized at the residence of Dewan Aftabul Alam, son of former Pakistan parliament member late Dewan Abul Abbas, one of the members of Bangladesh constitution formulation committee, at Wari in Dhaka after Asr prayers today (Sunday) marking the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
Imam and Khatib of Mia Saheb Maidan Shah Saheb Bari Jame Mosque, and other Islamic scholars will deliver religious sermon. Dr Mohammad Ishtiaq Sajjadur Rahman will recite verses from the holy Quran while Hafez Faruk, Hafez Rahmatullah and Syed Mohammad Barkatullah Badruddin will conduct the milad mahfil.
Ninth Goddinashin pir of Mia Saheb's Maidan Khanqueh Sharif Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahamadur Rahim, who is also the mutawalli of Alhaz Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and director of Mia Saheb's Maidan Shah Saheb's Bari Jame Masjid will conduct the discussion, doa mahfil and akheri munajat.

Freedom Fighter late Dewan Abul Abbas was president of Dhaka Bar Council and chairman of Bangladesh Bar Council Tribunal-2, parliament member from Nabinagar-Banchharampur constituency and opposition deputy leader of Pakistan parliament in 1962.
