National University (NU) Vice-Chancellor Professor ASM Amanullah underscored the need for reformation of the country's entire educational system including that of the NU.
"In 62 days of my experience as National University VC, it seems that the entire education system has been messed up. In this situation, reform of all educational systems including that of national university is necessary," he said.
Prof Amanullah was addressing a discussion marking the 32nd founding anniversary of the NU at the university, according to a press release received here Wednesday.
He said after taking charge, he took the initiative to include vocational courses in the curriculum of different affiliated colleges of the university.
NU Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Md. Lutfar Rahman, deans, registrar, head of departments also spoke, among others.
A colorful procession was brought out led by the NU vice-chancellor. Later, he inaugurated the daylong programme releasing pigeons and balloons.
