NDUB 1st Convocation Ceremony Announced

Education Minister Dipu Moni as the chief guest

The first convocation programme of Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) will be held on 18 December 2019 at its campus. Education Minister Dipu Moni has given her consent to attend the convocation programme as the chief guest, says a press release. 

The Registrar of NDUB Fr Adam S Pereira says in this regard, “Notre Dame is a reliable name in our country’s education sector. Notre Dame is maintaining its educational activities in Bangladesh for the last 70 years and the university started its journey from 2013 where skilled graduates, both boys and girls, are being prepared to meet the world.”

The graduate students of BBA (4th Batch), English (4th Batch), LLB (3rd Batch), Economics (2nd Batch), CSE (1st Batch) and the first sixth batches of MBA will attend this convocation programme. The registration programme of convocation had been started; and the last date of registration is 7 November 2019. Photo-shoot with graduation-attire is scheduled on 8-10 November at 8am to 5pm. Also, the University started the admission of Spring 2020.

NDUB started its journey with the supervision of late vice chancellor (in charge) Fr Benjamin D Costa, CSC on 29 April 2013. Veteran academic from Notre Dame University, Indiana, USA Professor Dr Fr Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, multi-lingual anthropologist, is now Vice Chancellor of NDUB.

It is to be mentioned that NDUB has academic collaboration programme with Notre Dame University, USA and Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, India.
