Educational development is a continuous process where maintaining regularity is important for the students. Due to heatwave across the country, it is not possible to continue regular classes in educational institutions, especially primary and high school students.
Classes started in educational institutions on Sunday, after the leave given due to severe heatwave. The Ministry of Education has already announced that classes will continue on Saturdays until further notice.
On Sunday, the education minister said on Facebook, "We now have 185 working days in a year." Out of this 20 days are reserved for evaluation of the new curriculum. If the working day of the school is further reduced, classes will be held on Friday if necessary to keep the educational program running.
