BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that the Election Commission is also responsible for destroying the country's democracy.
He said they should be brought to justice for violating the constitutional system.
He said these at a press conference at BNP's Naya Paltan central office in the capital on Thursday.
Agriculturalists Association of Bangladesh (AB) organised the press conference to protest the news published in the media.
Criticizing the Election Commission including the CEC, the BNP leader said, "You have announced the results of the robbery-robbery election alone." Then why did you not resign? The job was important to you that time, why did you not remember the country?
Referring to the ghost of Sheikh Hasina still in all offices and courts, Rizvi said, currently a special group of people are being appointed in educational institutions, which has already come to the public's attention.
