A battery run easy-bike driver was stabbed to death by unknown criminals at Baktabali Ferry Ghat area under Fatulla model police station in Narayanganj on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Harun 25, son of Imam Hossain of Bashotti village of Fulpur upazila in Jamalpur district. He used to live at Goni Mia’s house as tenant with his wife. He was easy-bike driver.
At about 11:00 am on Saturday night, police recovered the body from inside the easy-bike what was driven by Harun.
A sub-inspector of Fatulla model police station Elious Hossain who recovered body said that the deceased were received several stab injuries of sharp weapons.
Police picked up a young man suspected involvement with killing and thus interrogation is running to find out the clue, said the case investigator.
Widow Sharmin filed a murder case with Fatulla thana in this connection against unknown criminals.
Officer-in-Charge of Fatulla model police station Aslam Hossain said that the killing might have committed in any previous enmity.
