Dhaka University debating society in collaboration with Environment Department is going to organise inter-University environmental debating competition.
In a press release on may 11, Dhaka University Debating society has cleared about this event. Sitesh Chandra bachar, pro vice chancellor (education) of Dhaka University will be present as a chief guest and Dr. abdul hamid, Director general of Environment Department will be in chair.
In a press release, On the occasion of 11th Environment Day, Inter-University Debate Competition- 2024 is going to be organized to make every single person, organization and various institutions aware and motivated to protect the environment. 16 universities of eight divisions of the country will participate in the competition. The debate will be on urgent issues like the environment, climate, heat waves, disaster and disaster management, and global warming.
Besides, on 10th environmental debate Competition, Dhaka University debating society stood 1st position and Chattogram university debating society was secured runners up.
