DUCSU launches year-long cleanliness campaign

The Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurates the opening ceremony of the year long cleanliness programme as the chief guest on Sunday at Nawab Nabab Ali Chowdhury Senate premises, marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the centenary anniversary of Dhaka University and the golden jubilee celebrations of Bangladesh’s independence.

The event was organized by the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and DU Estate Office.

The cleanliness drive will be launched to make Dhaka University a green, clean and aesthetic campus.

The programme was attended by DUSCU AGS Saddam Hussein, Science and Technology Secretary Arif bin Ali, Members Tilottama Sikder and Farida Parvin, Acting Manager of the Estate Office Supriya Das and other members of the union. Md Mahmudul Hasan, a member of DUCSU, is the coordinator of the year long cleanup campaign.
