The Vice-Chancellor (Education) and Pharmacy Department Professor Sitesh Chandra Bachar from Dhaka University (DU) departed for Finland early Saturday morning to purchase a lift for the institution, returning on May 9.
A team of four, including DU's Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dean Professor Hafiz Muhammad Hasan Babu, Planning and Development Office Director Zaved Alam Mridha, and BUET's Mechanical Engineering Department Professor ABM Taufique Hasan, will conduct a 'pre-shipment inspection' of 17 lifts for ongoing construction projects at DU.
