Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman returned home from China on Tuesday after completion of a 6-day official visit at Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing and Yunnan University in Kunming, says a press release.
During his China visit, the VC held fruitful bilateral talks of mutual interests especially on higher education, research and scholarship programs with his counterparts and other academicians of Confucius Institute and Yunnan University. He also exchanged views with them for further strengthening and promoting academic cooperation.
Fruitful discussions were also held between DU VC and the authorities of Yunnan University regarding exchange of students and faculty members between the two institutions.
