The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have decided to resume in-person academic activities for the first year students from February 22.
The classes will be held following the previous schedule and all pre-scheduled examinations will also be held in-person, said a press release Friday.
"Initially, we are resuming in-person classes for first year students from February 22," DU Vice Chancellor Dr Akhtaruzzaman told BSS.

Considering the situation, in-person classes for other batches will also be resumed gradually, he added.
The university switched to online classes on January 21 to curb the spread of Covid-19 infections.
Earlier, on February 6, the university extended its online classes till February 21 amid a surge in Covid-19 cases following a government notification.
