Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) Department of Dhaka University (DU) accorded reception to freshers of 13th batch of the department on Tuesday at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city. Chairman of the department Professor Dr M Badruzzaman Bhuiyan presided over the function while State Minister of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali, MP attended it as chief guest.
GM of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel Stephen James Peters, CEO of Bangladesh Tourism Board Dr Bhuban Chandra Biswas, Professor Dr Md Afjal Hossain and Professor Dr Mojib Uddin Ahmend of THM department also, among others, addressed the function.
