Dhaka University (DU) Special Senate Session was held yesterday at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban. DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman has called for the special senate session.
According to DU mandate 1973 article 21 (1) a three member panel was nominated at the senate session to appoint the VC by the Chancellor. Senator Chairman and Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman presided over the senate session.
