Dhaka University Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof. A S M Maksud Kamal calls for youth to follow the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to serve needy people of Bangladesh. The Pro-VC commented at a discussion meeting held at DU on Thursday on “Bangabandhu’s Philosophy and Bangladesh” organised by DU Neuroscience Research Centre to celebrate Mujib hundred Year.
Neuroscience Research Centre Director Prof. Md. Khalilor Rahman presided over the discussion meeting while Biology Faculty Dean Prof. Md. Imdadl Hoque, Prof. Iarul Kabir, Chairman of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology addressed as the special guest. The Vice-Chancellor of Tagore University of Creative Arts Prof. Sayad Mohammad Shahed and prime minister's personal health assistant Prof. Dr. A B M Abdullah were keynote speakers. Vowing respect to the father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Prof. A S M Maksud Kamal said, Bangabandhu was the leader of the masses. He could read the emotion, demand, and impulse of his people. His heart was full of love and faith to mass people. He struggled his whole life to establish people’s goodness. He could respect teachers. He wanted to build a self-reliant nation cooperating with noble and qualified people. Memorising the contribution of Bangabandhu in the field of education, economics, politics, health, and diplomacy, the pro-VC said, father of the Nation may live in the heart of mass people as a leader of masses and poet of politics.
