Dr Muhammad Abdur Rashid, a professor Department of Islamic Studies of Dhaka University, has been appointed as the Provost of Kabi Jasimuddin Hall, says a press release issued by DU Public Relations Office on Sunday.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman appointed him for three years in accordance with Section 16 (1) of the 1st Statutes included in the Dhaka University Order, 1973.
