Dhaka University (DU) will resume classes for all years, except first year, starting September 22. First-year classes will begin on September 30. This decision was made during an emergency syndicate meeting on September 12.
The meeting, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan, followed recommendations from the Deans Committee. The new schedule aims to facilitate a smooth start to the academic year.
Additionally, the syndicate reviewed ongoing proposals to improve relationships between teachers and students and address conflicts. These measures have received full support from syndicate members.
