The students of Dhaka University continued their class boycott demanding cancellation of seven government colleges' affiliation with Dhaka University (DU) for the third consecutive day on Tuesday.
The activities of the university came to a halt as the demonstrators put academic and administrative buildings under lock this morning.
The agitating students said, their movement will continue until their demands are met. Their movement will go on until the demands are implemented.
The students took position in front of different buildings.
University proctor Prof AKM Golam Rabbani said, the decision will be taken in this issue after arrival of the vice-chancellor from China on Tuesday.
The DU Students started their movement since Sunday.
