The admission test of Dhaka University for undergraduate programmes under the arts, law and social sciences unit for the 2022-23 academic session will be held today. Candidates seeking admission first year undergraduate degree will sit for the examination.
42 applicants will compete for a place, according to DU administrators, while 1,22,848 applicants have already submitted applications for the 2,934 available seats. The test is scheduled to start at 11:00 and end at 12:30. Admission seekers may enter their specific centers up until 10:30am.
In Dhaka and seven other divisional cities, the entrance exam will be administered. Examinees will be given a set of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) worth 60 marks and a written portion worth 40 points in the 100-mark question.
As per the rules, the test takers are not permitted to use any electronic devices, including calculators.
The DU administration encouraged the examinees' guardians to park their automobiles exclusively in the University's Central Library, Suhrawardy Udyan, and Mohsin Hall field on the day of the exam. The next entrance test for the science unit is on May 12 and the business studies unit on May 13. The admission test started with the examination of the Faculty of Fine Arts on April 29.
