Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA) celebrated its 73th founding anniversary on Friday at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban premises with great joy and enthusiasm.
DU Vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the programme. Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman said, Dhaka University has taken various innovative and entrepreneurial endeavors including basic and practical research to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and to build the university suitable for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to create skilled human resources.
The Vice-Chancellor hoped that the DUAA would play an important role in the implementation of these initiatives by enhancing alumni networking and industry-academy relations.
DUAA president A K Azad presided over the programme.
Pro Vice-chancellor Prof. Dr ASM Maksud Kamal, Dhaka University Teachers Association General Secretary Nizamul Haque Bhuiyan and alumni were present there.
