The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has sought comprehensive information about flood-affected educational institutions and students.
Due to heavy rains and landslides, floods have occurred in several districts of Southwestern regions of the country including Chattogram, Bandarban and Cox's Bazar.
As a result, the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination, started on Thursday, was postponed along with the three-day closure of educational institutions in these regions.
A notice signed by Lilun Nahar, Assistant Director, Monitoring and Evaluation Section of DSHE, on Thursday informed that floods have occurred in different parts of the country due to heavy rainfall.
As a result, it has been asked to send overall information of educational imitation and its student as per attached table to the e-mail(director.mew@gmail.com) of the Monitoring and Evaluation Wing by next 22 August, if any educational institution in the district/upazila under the jurisdiction of DSHE is affected by flood.
