Director General (DG) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), Prof Dr Syed Md Golam Farooq inspected the overall management activities of schools and colleges in Dinajpur to monitor the situation during the corona period.
The DG visited the post-pandemic overall management of the schools and colleges in Dinajpur from Saturday morning to noon and visited 7 schools and 5 colleges in the city.
During this time, he inquired whether the activities of sanitation, isolation and tree planting programmes for school and college students were being conducted properly.
The Director General was accompanied by UN Children's Fund Nutrition Officer Irene Akhter Chowdhury, Deputy Director of DSHE's Rangpur Region Md Akhtaruzzaman, Director Professor SM Md Abdul Matin Lashkar, District Education Officer Md Rafiqul Islam and others.
Later, the DG as the chief guest attended a view-exchange on student’s sanitation and other issues on Dinajpur Shilpakala Academy premises. Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur Khaled Mohammad Zaki presided over the programme.
