Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a drug dealer with a cannabis plant in Kishoreganj.
Kishoreganj was becoming a sanctuary for drug dealers. But the RAB's prudence is holding it back. Kishoreganj is becoming safer from being the sanctuary for drugs.
On Tuesday (August 11) at 12:30 pm, RAB-14 conducted an operation and arrested a drug dealer named Shukkur Ali (55).
He is the son of late Akter Hossain of Purba Bharati village in Sadar upazila of the district.
RAB-14 (CPC-2) Kishoreganj Camp Company Commander Lt. M. Shovon Khan said they raided the Raghunandanpur area of Sadar upazila on Tuesday afternoon and arrested the accused from his house with a cannabis plant.
A case has been filed against him at Kishoreganj Model Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act 2018.
