A drug dealer was held with 700 pieces of Yaba pills in an operation led by Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station OC Mintu Rahman at the road in Chandra Narayanpur village on Saturday noon.
SI Roni Saha, SI Amir Sohail and ASI Majedur also took part in the operation with OC Mintu Rahman.
The detainee was identified as Mohammad Humayun Kabir, 52, son of late Anwar Hossain of Chandra Narayanpur village.
Later, a case was filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act with Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station.
