Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 detained a drug dealer and seized 203 bottles of Phensedyl from in Jhenaidah on Sunday night.
The detainee was identified as Tanvir Rohan, 20, son of Rabiul Islam of Shibpur village in Kaliganj police station in Jhenaidah.
RAB-6 company commander said they conducted a drive at Barobazer area at about 8.00 pm and detained the drug dealer. Later they seized the contra banned from his possession. RAB sources said Tanvir Rohan was engaged in dealing the drug trading in the locality for last couple of years.
They filed a case with Kaliganj police station and handed over him to the police station, RAB man said.
