Auto-rickshaw driver Rajkumar Biswas of Jhenidah had donated his hard-earned Tk 50,000 to the deputy commissioner in Jhenidah about six months back for the welfare of the corona-affected people.
Now the kind hearted poor man in his 50s once again desires to hand over remaining Tk 50,000 that he earned in working hard in last six months to the mother of humanity Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and salute her. Rajkumar Biswas, hails from Talikahola area in Jashore town left the house in search of fate in 1990 and started his carrier as a driver staying at various places. At present he has been living at Chaklapara area in the district town.
Rajkumar Biswas said he saved an amount of Taka 50 thousand desiring purchase a piece of land for his three-member family in the town adding some money.
But he given up the idea for land purchase and handed over the amount to the deputy commissioner of Jhenidah Saroj Kumar Nath when the people were suffering from global pandemic corona virus about six months back. The man said he had saved another Taka 50 thousand and desires to hand over the same to the mother of humanity Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and salute her for her continuous welfare activities fr the ailing people.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Jhenidah Saroj Kumar Nath when contacted said Rajkumar Biswas had expressed his desire to see the Prime Minister (PM) himself and hand over the remaining Taka 50 thousand to her directly. He has been trying to reach the honourable PM to fulfill his last desire anyway.
DC said the mentality of the poverty-stricken auto-rickshaw van driver proves that the number of good and kind-hearted people is not least in the country that can stand by the ailing people when the Prime Minister was marching ahead with her goal making Bangladesh self sufficient in all sectors.
