The Vice-Chancellor of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University Professor Dr. Soumitra Shekhar has been awarded to the 'Dinesh-Rabindrapatra' shommanona award 2023 introduced by Acharya Dinesh Chandra Sen Research Society of West Bengal
This award is given for significant contribution in education-research-development. Prof. Devkanya Sen, director of Dineshchandra Sen Research Society and great-granddaughter of Dineshchandra, today (Thursday, 23/11/2023) appeared in person at the Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University and handed over medals and certificates in a grand ceremony in the hands of Soumitra Shekhar. It is to be noted that Justice Sudhendu Mallik, Justice Chittatosh Mukherjee, Supriya Thakur, Bangladesh Minister Mostafa Jabbar, poet Muhammad Nurul Huda, fiction writer Selina Hossain, social activist Eroma Dutta and others received this medal before.
