Director of Dhaka Divisional Health Office Dr Sheikh Md. Hasan Imam paid rich tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreath at his grave at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Sunday noon.
Later, Dr Hasan Imam offered Fateha and took part in special munajat at the grave, seeking salvation for the departed souls of Bangabandhu and his family members.
At that time, administration officer (health) of Dhaka division Deepok Kanti Sarker, Civil Surgeon of Gopalganj Dr Tapan Kumer Mandal, newly appointed Assistant Director Dr Niaj Mohammad, Acting Medical Officer (resident) Dr Jashim Uddin were also present. Dr Hasan Imam also wrote at the visitors’ book there.
