In the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Annual Performance Agreement, the city corporation has made the decision to appoint officials as focal point officers on seven issues.
This information was confirmed by the concerned department of DNCC on Friday. DNCC secretary Mohammad Masud Alam
Siddique issued an office order on October 12 regarding the allotment of focal point officers on seven issues.
According to DNCC sources, the secretary of DNCC has been given the responsibility of the officers for the focal point in implementing the action plan for the management of issues raised by the people to avail services more effectively and properly facilitate the officials who have been given the responsibility in seven matters as the focal point officers.
Furthermore, the DNCC's chief urban planner Maqsud Hashem said, “In addition to the seven focal points in question, we have been tasked with implementing the Integrity Action Plan, the Sustainable Development Goals and the Eighth Five-Year Plan in the meeting.”
On the other hand, DNCC's system analyst Md. Tuhinul Islam, has been appointed as the focal point officer for e-governance innovation planning.
The Chief Public Relations Officer of DNCC, Abul Bashar Muhammad Tajul Islam, has been given the responsibility of the Right to Information Action Plan. Further appointments are yet to be confirmed.
