To improve cyber security education in Bangladesh, Mile2, a famous provider of information technology security services, has approved the Cyber Security Center of Daffodil International University as a training location.
The addition of the Cyber Security Centre would deepen its dedication to offering top-notch education and training in the area and increase its range of cybersecurity credentials.
The certificate handover ceremony was held at the vice-chancellor’s office, where Alamgir Hossain, the Asia Region’s representative, presented the ATC certificate to M Lutfar Rahman, vice-chancellor of Daffodil International University.
The ceremony was graced by representatives from Mile2, including Alamgir Hossain and Tareq Aziz from Blue Team Bangladesh, as well as distinguished members from Daffodil International University, namely SM Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, pro-vice-chancellor; Mostafa Kamal, dean of Academic Affairs; Mohammed Nadir Bin Ali, registrar; and Md Maruf Hassan, director of Cyber Security Centre.
Mile2 specialises in developing and providing proprietary accredited cybersecurity certifications that are recognized worldwide. This collaboration signifies a significant milestone in the efforts of Daffodil International University to address the growing need for skilled cybersecurity professionals in Bangladesh.
The partnership with Mile2 allows the Cyber Security Centre to offer a wide range of accredited courses and certifications, ensuring students and professionals receive industry-relevant training.
The DIU VC said, ‘This partnership will empower our students and professionals with globally recognised certifications, equipping them with the necessary skills to tackle emerging cybersecurity challenges.’
