A six members delegation of Daffodil International University (DIU) lead by its Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Yousuf Mahbubul Islam greeted newly appointed Chairman of University Grants commission of Bangladesh (UGC), Professor Kazi Shahidullah, at his office on Monday.
Professor Dr Yousuf Mahbubul greeted Professor Kazi Shahidullah with a flower bouquet.
Dr Yousuf expressed his optimism that under the dynamic leadership of Professor Shahidullah, the pace and momentum of country’s tertiary education will be accelerated.
The other members of the DIU delegation were Professor Dr S M Mahabub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro- Vice Chancellor, Hamidul Haque Khan, treasurer, Professor Dr Ahmed Ismail Mostafa, dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Professor A M M Hamidur Rahman, dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Professor Dr A K M Fazlul Hoque, registrar.
