Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Daffodil International University (DIU), Daffodil International School and Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI) jointly organised ‘Mompreneurs Haat & Certificate Giving Ceremony’ on Sunday at 71 Milonayoton of the university. Shamima Shahriar, MP was present at the programme as the chief guest and distributed certificate among the successful mompreneurs.
Professor Dr Lafia Jamal, president of Bangladesh Robot Olympiad and chairperson, Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering, University of Dhaka was present as the special guest. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil family was present as the guest of honour in the programme. Beside this K M Hasan Ripon, advisor, Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI), Lt Col (retd) Md Zahirul Islam, principal, Daffodil International College, Dr Mahmudul Hasan, Principal, Daffodil International School were also present.
While addressing as the chief guest Shamima Shahriar said that entrepreneurs are big assets of our country. They will create huge employment opportunity in future.
Professor Dr Lafia Jamal said in her speech that there is no limit to learn and there is no age limit to learning. She urged the women to come forward to become entrepreneur.
Mohammad Nuruzzaman said that entrepreneur moms have to be more challenging and they have to face lots of problem and finally they won success in life.
Finally Shamima Shahriar distributed certificate among 2nd batch students of mompreneurs.
