A virtual discussion on National Mourning Day is scheduled to be held on today (August 26) at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU).
Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury, MP, is scheduled to attend the programme virtually as the Chief Guest.
On Wednesday (August 25), a notice signed by University Treasurer and the convener of the National Day Celebration Committee, Professor Dr Mohammed Faruque Uddin was issued on this regard.
Vice-Chancellor of Barishal University Professor Dr Md Sadequl Arefin and Dhaka University Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal are supposed to participate in the discussion as special guests.
The meeting is scheduled to start from 3 pm and the programme will be live on the Facebook page of Public Relations and Publications Department of the University.
A documentary exhibition will also be held during the discussion. NSTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Didar-ul-Alam will be presiding over the meeting while Prime Asia University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mesbah Uddin Ahmed will be delivering the keynote address.
