An exchange meeting under the SPCSSECP programme, jointly organised by Karmasangsthan Bank and Bangladesh Bank, took place on Sunday at the Dean's Conference Room, Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, Bangladesh Agricultural University.
Local elites and entrepreneurs of Mymensingh region participated in the meeting Md. Mojibur Rahman, Project Director and Executive Director of the SPCSSECP at Bangladesh Bank, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Special guests included Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank, and Kazi Tamanna Haque, Director of the SPCSSECP at Bangladesh Bank. The meeting was presided over by Md. M. Aktar Hossain Pradhan, Dhaka Divisional DGM of Karmasangsthan Bank.
The learning session was conducted by Rozina Akhter Mustafi, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank.
During the open discussion, participants shared insights about the SPCSSECP programme, exploring its advantages and challenges.
The guests provided valuable advice to prospective entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making.
In his address, Chowdhury highlighted the significance of financial inclusion, urging more entrepreneurs to seize opportunities presented by the demographic dividend.
He also underscored the need for enhancing the overall working environment within the bank and improving customer service.
