On the occasion of the Homecoming Day of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of the Father of the Nation, a discussion meeting was organized on the initiative of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh on Wednesday. Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam was present as the chief guest. Treasurer Professor of the University joined virtually as a special guest Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam said that we will create our own technology and lead the world in the year 2041 by implementing the ideals of the father of the nation under the leadership of leader Sheikh Hasina. That is why the government established digital university. And in this university we are making our young generation fit to lead the world.
He said, if Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had not returned to her homeland on this day in 1981, then we could not have dreamed of today’s smart Bangladesh. Today, Bangladesh could not stand high in the world. All this is possible because the Prime Minister is in power.
In the speech of the special guest, Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain said that the homecoming of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina is significant in establishing a smart Bangladesh and a developed and prosperous Bangladesh. If she did not come back, all the dreams of Bengalis would have remained unattainable and the establishment of Sonar Bangla, the dream of the father of the nation, would have been disrupted.
University teachers, officials and employees were present in the discussion meeting.
