An emergency meeting of Dinajpur Journalists union to form a sub-committee was held at the temporary office of the Journalist Union in Dinajpur on Saturday.
The meeting was presided over by founding president of Dinajpur Journalists Union GM Hiru. Md Belal Hossain join moderated the meeting.
It was stressed in the meeting that the organizing activities of the Union has increased due to the ongoing political situation of the country and as the interim government has taken charge. The proposal to form a sub-committee was passed in light of the recent situation to coordinate with the administration and various political parties.
The members of the sub-committee are convener Qurban Ali Sohel, joint convener Abdus Salam, Md Belal Hossain Joy, members of the Dinajpur Journalist union Mahbubul Haque Khan, Md Mokarram Hossain, Md Abu Kawsar, Md Ekramul Haque Chanchal, Md Arifur Rahman, Chandan Mitro, Md Nur Islam Nayan, Md Ismail Hossain and Md Mostafa Kamal Apon.
All the members of Dinajpur Journalists Union were present in the meeting.
