Digital Bangladesh Day was observed in Kishoreganj on Monday. Kishoreganj District Administration arranged rally, discussion, and prize distribution marking the day. A discussion meeting was held on Kishoreganj Collectorate conference room.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education & ICT) Farzana Khanam presided over the meeting. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad was attended as chief guest. Police Super Mohammad Resul Sheikh PPM (Bar), Zila Parishad Chairman Md. Zillur Rahman, District Awami League General Secretary Advocate MA Afzol and Kishoreganj Municipality Mayor Md. Parvez Miah were attended as special guest.
It was address among others by Civil Surgon Office Medical Officer Dr Mahabubur Rahman, freedom fighter Abul Kashem, District Mohila Awami League General Secretary Bilkis Begum and others spoke on the occasion. Assistant Commissioner Nabila Ferdous conducted the function.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of the online quiz competition. Before a colourful rally was brought out in the town.
