Diabetes Day was observed in Chuadanga under the auspices of Chuadanga Diabetic Association following discussion and rally on November 14. A rally was brought out and paraded main roads of the town. After rally a discussion was held at the hall room of the association. The meeting was presided over by Reajul Islam Joarder Toton. It was addressed by Adv. Shamsuzzoha, general secretary of the association, Munsi Alamgir Hannan, vice president, Azad Malita, vice president, Alauddin Hela, treasurer, Adv. Selimuddin Khan, executive member, Dr. Mizanur Rahman, medical officer, Dr. Nahid Fatima Rotna, medical officer and Umme Atika Mollik Akhi, nutritionist and health educator of the association.
The discussion was conducted by Shahidul Islam Sahan, joint secretary of the association.
