Dhaka Cantonment Ladies Club has distributed 2,500 blankets among the helpless, distressed and poor people in Baunia area of Dhaka.
At the same time, financial assistance has also been given to helpless and distressed families.
Bangladesh Army's Dhaka Cantonment Ladies Club chief patron Nurjahan Ahmed attended as the chief guest and distributed these blankets and gave financial support, said an ISPR press release.
According to ISPR, the chief guest expressed hope that the public service activities of the Dhaka Cantonment Ladies Club will be continued.
