‘Despicable Me 4’ hits theatres in US, Bangladesh

Good news for fans of the ‘Despicable Me’ series. ‘Despicable Me 4’  hits theatres on,July 3, in both the United States and Bangladesh. Fans in Bangladesh can catch the movie at Star Cineplex.

The popular animation series began in 2010 and continued with sequels in 2013 and 2017. All the movies have been loved by audiences worldwide.

Directed by Chris Renaud and produced by Universal Pictures, the film stars Steve Carell as the voice of Gru. Other voice actors include Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, Dana Gaier, and Pierre Coffin. The excitement for the movie has been building, especially after the trailer was released on Universal Pictures' YouTube channel, gaining over 1.5 million views in just two days. In "Despicable Me 3," Gru left behind his villainous ways to live happily with his three adopted daughters and his wife, Lucy.

 He started working for the Anti-Villain League (AVL), and they occasionally team up to stop other villains as "Grusy."

In this new film, a supervillain named Brat, who used to play a villain on a TV show, becomes a real-life villain after his show ends. Brat plans to launch Hollywood into space and seeks help from Gru and his family to make it happen.

New characters join the story, including Gru Jr, the newborn son of Gru and Lucy. Maxime Le Mal, a villain who has enhanced his body with cockroach parts, seeks revenge on Gru and his family. The AVL relocates Gru's family to protect them, giving them new identities and assigning three minions to them.
