Orientation program of Field IT Technicians appointed in Rajshahi and Rangpur Divisions under the Establishing Digital Connectivity (EDC) Project implemented by the Department of Information and Communication Technology was held on Saturday at Joy Silicon Tower Auditorium of Rajshahi Hi-Tech Park.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) of Rajshahi Md. Anisul Islam presided over the event and EDC project director Tanzina Islam was present as the chief guest in the orientation program. Md Feroze Sarkar, Deputy Project Director of EDC project, presented the keynote at the event. The orientation program was moderated by EDC Project communication expert Md. Shohel Mamun.
Mehedi Hashan, director of Gulf Security Service (Pvt.) Ltd., Md. Abu Masum, procurement expert EDC project, Md. Kefayet Ullah, finance expert and assistant programmer Md. Sajedul Hasan also participated in the discussion.
Congratulating the newly appointed field IT technicians, Project Director Tanzina Islam said you should play a responsible role in the smooth execution of the project at the field level. Deputy Project Director Md. Feroze Sarkar said that the government has started working on building a smart Bangladesh. The EDC project will play an important role in this regard.
