Department of CSE, BRACU holds workshop on OBE

Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Brac University (BRACU) had organized a hands-on faculty workshop on adapting Outcome Based Education (OBE) course curriculum from Summer 2019.

The workshop focused on OBE based course outline design and a brief overview of activities of departmental OBE committee from the beginning with some future guidelines. The workshop was held in Research Lab on Thursday from 9am to 11am.

More than sixty regular faculty members had participated in the workshop. The workshop started with an introduction from the Chairperson of CSE Department Professor Dr M A Mottalib. OBE Coordinator Dr Md Motaharul Islam, associate professor, CSE, BRACU conducted the workshop. Professor Dr Mohammad Tamim, Pro vice-chancellor (VC) of BracU was present during concluding part of the workshop and gave his speech and congratulated the CSE department and OBE committee.

At the end of the workshop the faculty members designed OBE based course outline of different CSE/CS courses for Summer 2019.

Dr M A Mottalib expressed his thanks to the facilitators and faculty members for their contributions. Dr Mottalib and Dr Md Motaharul Islam handed over the OBE curriculum to Professor Dr Mohammad Tamim at the end of the seminar.
