A Noakhali court has placed Delwar Hossain, the main accused in a case filed over the molestation of a woman after undressing her at Begumganj upazila of Noakhali, on a three-day remand in a murder case.
Meanwhile, another accused of the woman molestation case named Israfil has been put on four-day remand.
Judge of the Noakhali Begumganj Cognisance Court-3 Mashfiqul Haque passed the order on Wednesday.
Earlier, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Begumganj police station, SI Mostaq Ahmed, IO of Hasan murder case, submitted a petition before the court seeking five-day remand for Delwar in the murder case. The court granted a three-day remand for him.
