The National University has released the results of the 2022 Degree Pass and Certificate Course first-year examination. The results were made available on the university’s official website on Monday, according to a circular issued by the National University.
A total of 3,53,244 students, including regular, irregular, and those appearing for quality improvement, participated in the examination from 1,912 colleges across the country. The exams were held in 671 centers nationwide. Out of these students, 2,24,571 candidates have successfully passed the exam, resulting in a pass rate of 86.57%.
The university has provided a procedure for students or concerned individuals to raise objections regarding the published results. If anyone has concerns, they must submit their complaints in writing to the Controller of Examinations within one month of the result publication. No objections will be accepted after this time frame.
In a separate development, the government has formed a committee to improve the quality of primary education in the country.
The committee will be led by Professor Manzoor Ahmed and is expected to provide recommendations to enhance the standards of education at the primary level. The release of the degree first-year results marks an important milestone for thousands of students across Bangladesh, who can now plan their next steps in their academic journeys.
