The production house of the movie 'Mission Extreme', which is awaiting release, has created a web series titled 'Bilaap'. Runa Khan, Zakia Bari Momo and Sabnam Faria, the best actress of the time, have played one of the three main characters in this series of dark thriller genres.
The story and screenplay were written by Sunny Sanwar, famous for 'Dhaka Attack' and 'Mission Extreme' (Volumes 1 and 2). It is jointly directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed.
The series is set to release on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr on the OTT platform Cinematic. The trailer has already been released, which has received a good response on social media.
Writer and director Sunny Sanwar said, “I never thought the trailer would be so appreciated by the viewers. We are very excited to get feedback from the audience. My idea is that the five episodes of the whole series will introduce viewers to a different world and add a different dimension to Eid entertainment.”
Regarding the story of the series, the producer said, “Suddenly, a number of children, men and women are mysteriously disappearing from Dhaka city and a number of tragic murders take place. When a special team of police finds no clue to these crimes despite hundreds of attempts, Sub-Inspector Rahat, known as an extremely incompetent, finds relief in a vicious cycle of assassinations. The story will go on like this.”
Apart from Runa, Momo and Faria, Shariful Raj, Lutfar Rahman George, Khairul Bashar, Majnun Mizan, Masum Bashar, Intekhab Dinar, Joy Raj, Sampati Masuk, Dipu Imam, Ehsan Rahman, Ashraful Ashish, Naba will be seen in important roles in 'Bilap'. Pooja Cruz, Nilanjana Neela, Sumit Sengupta.
‘Bilaap’ is Faria’s first web series, where for the first time she has paired up with 'No Dorai' fame actor Shariful Raj. Zakia Bari Momo and Runa Khan will be seen in two exceptional important roles.
